The Fine Theatrical Library of Dr. Joel E. Rubin

An extraordinary collection of works relating to the Theatre, and especially to the history and practice of theatrical production. Formed over 50 years, the collection contains in excess of 2,500 books, pamphlets, trade catalogues, and journals. Dr. Rubin is the author of the seminal book Theatrical Lighting Practice (published in 1954), and is a founder of The United States Institute for Theatre Technology, and the  International Organization of Scenographers, Theatre Architects, and Technicians.
